Took a tour of downtown San Francisco on board the City Sightseeing double decker bus. One of several bus companies, but we chose City Sightseeing due to one of their stops being only a 30 minute walk from the Caltrain station. The guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining at the same time. It was a good way to orientate first timers with the city. Our next visit we will spend more time in the many localities “the City” has to offer.

The 88 is our new home. This Condo is located in downtown San Jose. We don’t even have to leave the building to get groceries, downstairs is Safeways. The name is taken from the street number of the building, as does several other residential buildings (360 and the 101). The 88 is the highest building between San Francisco and Los Angeles. It has a community level with an entertainment room, kitchen, pool, bbq’s and a billiards room. On the top level is an observation deck. The building has it’s very own Concierge, Lisa who knows every resident by name and is our perfect guide for out of towners like us.
